Dude, are you using a Haynes or Chilton repair manual to do this? Either one should have suggestions on how to get them off properly and they may even list the tools that are needed. I had a Haynes manual for my 91 YJ and it was mostly spot on. Haven't tried my 08 JK manual yet but I have a slight front axle seal leak so it is coming up soon. How did your removal go on the front?

Someone posted a link for a Craftsman 2 jaw large gear puller which if you have verified the e-brake is disengaged will work. It will work even if the e-brake is holding it, it just may break/bend stuff.

I have used it on my F-150 front brakes to free the rotors when they were rusted in place. You can insert the puller tab into the center slots of the rotor and tighten it with a 1/2" socket/ratchet and it will pull the rotor off without damaging the face of the rotor.

Default Tool called "Brake Drum and Rotor Pullerr"

Like a gear-puller but specifically for rotors:

OTC 6980 Heavy Duty Brake Drum and Rotor Puller (link to Sears)

Here's the gear-puller in action:

WordPress: Stuck Break Rotor (be careful...my rotor flew off 2 ft. once the puller dislodged it)
