Default Top of Sound Bar Wearing

When I was opening the top yesterday, standing up in the back seat area, I noticed the fabric material on top of the sound bar is already starting to wear through from contact with the top - white chafe marks over entire upper surface. Now wondering if this will wear completely through and/or the top itself will start to wear through?

Your top shouldn't contact it unless you're doing something wrong. The frame of the stock soft top keeps it off of the rollbars.
Aftermarket stuff however....

I guess that would depend on the top. Frameless tops do wrap over and touch the sound bar. What top are you using and, as stated above, where is it wearing - photos please.
