Tpms compatability?
This is interesting.
I just traded my 2012 2dr Wrangler for a 2015 4dr Wrangler for boat towing purposes. The dealership swapped my wheels from the 12 over to the 15. I drove around after everything was done for about 10-20mins and got the Tpms sensor error on my dash. I brought it back in the next day and the service rep came back out and asked where I bought the rims, and I said Discount Tire. I said, they took the rims off the old tires on the 2012 and put them on the new tires on the 2015. He replied with that sensors are different for the 15 vs the 12. Make a long story short, they fixed it and I didn't really want to ask questions lol because it was free.
I'm guess either they broke one of the sensors when they swapped over the wheels, or he was telling the truth.
