Default TPMS Lights Multiple Codes!

Hi Everyone...finally registered here and hoping I can get some guidance. I have a stock 2013 JKU Sport Billet Silver. Installed New KO's 2 years ago and installed Rancho 9000 shocks about 2 1/2 months ago. Right around then the TPMS light flashed and stays on...reset it 3 times and it came back. I'm getting the following codes: C151D, C1501, C1580, C1581, C151C.

I done some research and haven't really found anything solid to go on. I don't want to just change all my sensors or the unit on a whim and guess....any helps appreciated....Thanks

The obvious thing would be ensure your tires are up high enough and maybe even past the threshold a little bit to silence the sensors. How many miles are on the sensors? That could be on the vehicle or if you bought the wheels from a guy who bought them from his cousin's neighbor's sister then it could be significantly higher. The batteries in the units are only in use after they spin to "wake up" but 2 years is certainly long enough for them to wake up.

Hi Karls10jk, The JKU has about 65K miles. I did go up and down on the tire pressure to see if that would silence them. In fact, I think Im still running 40 on them. Will try and disconnect the battery for 20 min just to rule that out since Im doing the oil change later. Sensors are original.

They shouldn't have failed with only 65k miles, I don't know of many (if any) that I've seen fail at that kind of mileage. If you're already up and down on pressure then you've eliminated that as well.

I just finished the oil change and diff oil change and had the battery disconnected for 25 minutes...no change still have the light come on...I guess I'll change the sensors to new ones when the Mammoth wheels come in next week....so much grief just from TPMS, not worth it. Thanks for the help Karls10JK!

Take it to a tire dealer. They have a device that they can go to each tire stem and check if the sensor is working Ok or not. If there is a bad or weak sensor you will know exactly which tire has the problem. They charge around $60 to replace it.
