5 new sensors $146, mounting $40 or get a procal for $130. then you can correct your speedo when you regear or change tire size and turn your tpms to 0 and shut off the idiot light.
now the regear or larger tire may void a part but not the procal correcting your cars computer. unless the computer goes then maybe they could say the procal broke it but if the computer is broken i dont think they can tell what program is on it. im outta breath

I have a Procal, so do I need to get the sensors for another set of wheels? If I just set the tpms to 0, do I even need to have the sensors?

Setting it to zero will turn of your TPMS warning light. Btw, I called 4 inspections stations in and around Charlotte (wanted to know if it would cause me issues getting inspected if the light was on or disabled). To a person, each shop said that TPMS is not part of the inspection process, so no worries not reinstalling the sensors.

That said, for $12 per wheel (Discount Tire in Mooresville), I decided to move mine to my new wheels. Just less hassle in the long run for me. YMMV.

I chose to take them out with my new tires. Metal valve stems don't do so well when off road and something hits it. I'd rather have the give with rubber stems.
