Trading in JK for 2010?
Look at the Tread Lightly program for the new jeep purchase price. 1% below invoice plus you get the benefit of any existing rebates. For the trade in do you have a Car Max or similar near you. Car Max bought my last car outright for $2,200.00 more than the Jeep dealer would offer on a trade. Good luck.
It was 19,000 I will just see and Car Max it that way I can see and wait if the 2012 will be a new engine but I'll be Jeep less for 1 year.

No problem! I wasn't even in the market for a Jeep when I bought it, but Ive never seen those types of rebates on rubicon's plus the dealer discount. According to the dealer they were about to hit a "mark" and it was right at the end of the year (and month) so thats where the dealer discount came into play. I couldn't believe it at the time so I went for it and then ended up with 3 jeeps. Its was so worth it , the unlimited's changed everything for Jeep, I love it! I can load my family, my dog, all my gear and hit the road.

I sold my 07 on CL for 3500 more than the dealer offered to trade for. I posted it on Thursday and it was gone Sat morning. I called the salesman that offered me the low ball trade and told her I had sold my Jeep and needed to order a new one but it wouldn't come from them.

The invoice for the new JK auto was $23835.50

My 2009 X auto w/ 24s package and hardtop was $26,853 sticker price.. I bought it last August, when they were trying to make room for the 2010's.. So, they dropped the price down $3,000 and gave me $853 for my POS 99 Saturn, making the purchase price $23,000 even.. Shop around, you can find some pretty good deals out there, especially when their trying to make room for the new ones!! Also try to play 2 dealers against each other, so they're fighting over your business and your trade in.. Good luck.. Feel better!!
I think you're looking at this all wrong. Get your knee fixed properly and you can drive whatever you want. You don't "mess" a knee up and just leave it like that. You do what you have to and get it working properly. Even if you're paying for it, it will cost less than the 10K you're going to fork out for the new Jeep.
