Awww - you directed him to the Jeep site?!

What the Trail Rated badge is SUPPOSED to mean and what it actually means are two different things. The Jeep site has the supposed meaning... the reality is that the "Trail Rated" badge is a marketing ploy (you KNOW it took a lot of corporate restraint to keep that badge off the Compass!).

Luckily for you, if you own a Wrangler, you don't need that badge - you have a far more important one: It's that sticker on each side that says "Wrangler" on it... THAT'S "trail rated" and time-tested.

Malarkey? You've got moxie to resort to an old-timey comment like that, and I'm not keen on it... get on the trolley with the rest of us, eh?

Yes, the badge is a pricey option... but I only got 1, also... bummer! They took me for an extra grand, I guess...
