What weight lube should be used in stock 2012 JK transfer case ?

This is from the 2012 Owner's Manual, and the JK Owner's Manuals for the other years say the same thing:

"Transfer Case MOPAR ATF+4 Automatic Transmission Fluid or equivalent licensed
ATF+4 product."

The use of a licensed ATF+4 product is important for the transmission.
I suspect the t-case is a lot more tolerant of other types. I'd stick with ATF+4 while under warranty.
