Just wondering if there is a way to easily identify a transfer case from a manual tranny and an automatic tranny. Tried a search and all i could come up with was that there might be a spline count difference. 21 for manual and 23 for automatic, but i couldnt confirm this to be true. Are the outer cases cosmetically the sme? Thanks for any input.
