Default transmission squeeks

i just got a new 2door jk, and when i drive the trany squees a little. but its kinda annoying when the top is down. and it goes away whenever i push in the clutch. and when im driving if i lightly touch the clutch the sound goes away. does anybody have any idea as to what this is? the sound is a constant high pitched squeek.

thanks

-i know it isnt the intake squeek, thats been posted in other threads, i know what that sound is this is completly different when im in gear and just rolling it squeeks and when i push the clutch in it stops

I have the same problem. I have the 4 door JK. I also notice this squeek / chirp when in neutral and the clutch was out. It is an annoying sound. At first I thought it was just me, then my wife commented about it last night.

i think mine has to do with the clutch. when its in gear it makes a noise, but when its in neutral or i have my clutch pushed in it stops. and if im driving in gear and i lightly touch the clutch not even enough to start to make it slip it stops, im thinking the clutch might need to be adjusted or something!?!?!?!

Getting mine fixed on Thursday. Annoying and noticed it on the way home from delivery. Should have been fixed before delivery. Known problem, TSB but "wait & see" attitude instead of checking it out before deliver. Nice!

Brought it in and 5 Star Service dealer told me that they would need a day to diagnose it and then a week to order the parts. Don't get caught in that b.s. trap. Demand that it be fixed on that day. They can diagnose it over the phone its so freakin loud!

Tranny has to be dropped to make it right.

I have the 6 speed manual tranny.

Is the throw-out bearing a problem that appears after awhile or do you have it from the first mile?

Thanks in advance for the help.
