Default Tub Rust

I took out the carpets in the rear cargo area and found a couple of rust spots... Anyone have a removal method? I don't jus want to cover it back up

i was scared of the tub rusting as well. i pulled the plugs and bed linered the tub. once the rust is there you could sand it away and paint over. you could use naval jelly to eat the rust or use a rust convertor. is it a scratch in the paint where the rust has appeared? good luck and keep an eye on it. my old wrangler rusted away under the carpet but the tj didnt rust at all unless i scratched through the "ecoat".
