My rear seat hasn't been in for over two years now, if I have a need for it then I'll put it in.

Grocery trip yesterday so seat was held up by the bungees. Here’s a pic in case my description was confusing.

Thanks for the pic. I think I'll do something similar. I'd take the seat out, but my garage is a bit too small to store it, and I occasionally have a car seat for a grandkid.

I have a 2015 JK. I’ve tried everything except dynamite to get my seat to fold forward. It seems to be hung up

I know you know this but you pull the lever up in the middle top of the seat. That should release the latches. Pull the back of the seat forward and then lift the bottom of the seat up. I assume the latch is not releasing. I have not had that problem but I think that is all mechanical so you can probably look at the latch when you have someone pull the lever up. Mack sure you are pulling the lever all the up since it is mechanical. If you are still having a problem I can go look to see how mine releases.

yes, I have tried every suggestion. It will not release. It is jammed somehow.

This. It takes up way too much room, and no one I've ever met wants to ride in the back seat of a 2 door jeep.
