Default Under the hood rubbing.

So I popped my hood and underneath the hood all the way by he windshield on top of the Chrysler sticker my hood is rubbing the plastic 3.6 engine cover. It has rubbed all the paint off. Has anyone had this problem?

Make sure the engine cover is on correctly. I'd pull it off and re-attach it.

Pull (a little) straight up on the sides and then lift up along the front edge so it is tilting with the low end at the fire wall. Then pull straight toward yourself to disengage the rear attachment.

To install:
Angle the cover with low end at the fire wall and align with the attachment points and engage by pushing (lightly) toward the fire wall. Then rotate the cover down and engage the side attachment points (one on each side).
