Default Uneven tire wear

Hello, I am getting excessive wear on the outside of the front passenger tire. If I understand correctly this is due to the camber being off which can be adjusted at the lower control arm. But how do I measure it so that I can know what I have done after making an adjustment?

Thanks!

Have you had an alignment check? If not, get one before you consider making any corrections.

Camber is not adjustable on the JK.
Most times, when JK camber is off, the top of the tire leans in. This is the opposite from what would cause the outside of the tread to wear.

Too much and not enough toe can cause one edge to wear, too.

So which would cause the outside of the tire to wear, too much toe in, or out? I would guess toe in since that would put the outside edge forward.

Could be.

Have you had an alignment check?

No, not since I bought it. There aren't any jeep dealerships in my area and since I am new to the area, I've yet to discover any shops I would trust.

Try a tire shop. Some will check alignment for free and give you a read-out.
