Default Valvoline Durablend 80W-90

Anybody using this, if you are there any drawbacks to putting this in my front diff? I have 2 quarts. My other question is has anyone used it and pulled their diff cover after the required change interval and taken a look at their gears?

Nothing, huh?

I saw a picture of two bottles of this stuff somewhere here, oh well, I'm going to put this in the front, and having been somewhat impressed by the AMSOil white paper on gear lube, I'm putting AMSOil Severe Gear 75W-140 in the rear.
Met an amsoil dealer here yesterday at noon, got the box just now via UPS, talk about fast service. $8 shipping.

Sorry I can't help with your question since I've never used either. I do like the sounds of the Amsoil products but for the price....... I did just install my Solid diff covers and went with the Mobil 1 75-90 oil. I think the difference in price between the Mobil and Amsoil was almost $10 per quart. Mobil being the cheaper.

The Mobil 1 here ran from $16-18/qt, the AMSOil 15.15 +2.66 each qt for shipping, so about the same.
