Guys, I need your knowledge on this on! I bought my JK 3 month ago! I used to have a TJ but now I have the Sahara! I came back home tonight and start playing with my 2 off road lights, High, low, high, low.... But this is where it comes weird, when I locked the Jeep with the remote, the honk went off! Is this normal???? It's the first time it happen to me... It never made the honk sound before!? My question is, does your JK honk when you lock it, if so, why did mine started do this'' locking honk'' tonight???

 

its supposed to do that. You probably just didnt take note of it before

 

you can turn the "honk" on or off by choice ....read the owners manual

 

i bet your jeep is just doing wierd things because of messing with the lights! my electronics do weird stuff all the time!!!!

 

Before, I looked at the light to see if the Jeep was locked! Don' t worry, im not that stupid to not notice that honking sound!

 

You can turn it off and on...chances are when you were playing with the lights something reset (the honk is the default) so don't let it bother you too much.

 

Lol i set mine so it doesnt honk when i lock the doors but atleast once a week it will randomly honk when im hitting the unlock button on the key or starting the jeep it will just randomly honk sometimes lol kinda wierd

 

Mine honks when I lock it. I can turn it off? I need to read the owners manuals. GRUMBLE GRUMBLE!
