vibration in stick shift when air is on
I have this intermittent situation that happens at random times regardless of altitude, temperature, etc...
When I am running my fans inside, the stick shift handle vibrates metallically. I can't hear anything really (deaf) and I just feel it vibrating in my hand. When I turn off the fans, then it goes back to being smooth engine vibrations with no metallic or harsh vibrations. The vibration is not bad enough to warrant a trip to the dealer. This happens only when the Jeep is not moving, engine running, and the clutch is down (neutral) or clutch up and stick in neutral.
Tried AC, heat, cold, lights, etc.. but I can't seem to figure it out. Its not really a "problem" but more of "wtf is that? How can I stop that?".

when you turn the inside fan on, you pull a little electricity from the system.. . just enough it loads the alternator and the jeep's idle slows down.. probably just enough to create a resonation that makes the stick vibrate..
when turning on the AC compressor the computer will compensate for that idle change so you may not notice it...
I notice the stick in mine doing it at various different times.. doesnt seem to hurt anything and there is no sound/ noise associated with it...
