Default W5A580(722.6) Questions

I have 2016 Sahara i just got 6 months ago from a Lincoln dealer . The transmission and torque converter were replaced with a reman in July 2020(20k miles ago). Now its acting up. Its my wife's so she describes it revving the rpms up but not moving upon attempting to take off after stop then when she lifts off accelerator and depresses again it'll go. Has done this several times , with once a clunk going into gear from park. Check engine light on but no code when performing the turn key 3 times procedure, just says DONE..
Trans fluid is red, not burnt and appropriate level. no signs of leaks .

2?s

1 any thoughts on what the problem could be( i know hard to tell from this info)

And the big one

2 ****** since the transmission was just replaced at a different dealer than where i bought it , and not being the original owner( prob under original manufacturers drivetrain warrantee) do i have a chance of getting it fixed under replacement warrantee from time of repair replacement(July 2020).. Im concerned there going to say transmission was covered under original 5 year 60k manufacturers warrantee so not covered now. What should i expect them to say and do i have any recourse? TIA

It certainly doesn't cost anything to ask. It would seem any work under warranty should be warranted for a period of time as well......although, I have never run into that situation to know for sure and what that duration would be.

The Dash turn key 3 times procedure is very limited and typically only provides codes stored in the ECM where there's other modules on the CAN bus that store codes such as the PCM. It's a worthwhile investment to get an OBD-II code reader that is able to read things like ABS, Airbag, etc that the basic $20 code readers and dash light hokey pokey dance can't access. I like the BlueDriver OBD code reader since it can be used on any vehicle and is able to access all the modules on the CAN bus. It's a $100 investment which has paid for itself many times over for me since I typically do my own diagnostics and repair work. Most shops charge $80-$100 just to put their code reader on it, and the BlueDriver does most everything the expensive shop readers will do and then some. One thing is for certain, if the CEL is on, then there is a code stored somewhere making it turn on. You just may need the right tool to read what it is.

I also find the BlueDriver very valuable when purchasing a used vehicle. It will show you things wrong with the vehicle that don't trigger any warning lights. It's not like you can rely on a used car sales man to tell you everything that may be wrong prior to purchase. Anyways....did I say I really like the BlueDriver? They should start paying me...LOL!
