Good on them for addressing it. I'll swing by my dealer to see what they have to say.

 

Yeah happens to me too. Disappears after a day. I think it's just a small air leak. I've got some other locking gas cap also but I've tried switching to the stock cap and it'll still do it. This only happens 1-2 times every few months though.

Didn't make it out to the dealer. Will sometime this week.

Yup, got my letter yesterday also! 24K on my early build '12 JK and it is going just fine (so far)

 

Dang they don't have my current address haha

 

Since they already replaced my left head, I'm wondering if that affects whether or not the extended warranty applies. The letter I received made no mention of this possibility.
Any guesses?

I got my letter in the mail this past week. If you think you qualify, and if you don't get a letter in the next days, you might want to pay a visit to your dealer. Even so, if you're covered, having a letter or not shouldn't make a difference.

 

Got my letter yesterday. For 2012 JKU. bought May 2012 so far no issues but at least it should be covered longer if it does. Fingers crossed

 

it does not say they will repair ticking 3.6. It pretty much says if it codes they will make the repairs a head replacement .
I guess its better than nothing but I kinda wish they just recall it and be done with it . Instead of driving a noisey ticking vehicle year after year waiting. Wondering on each trip .
the heads were just not right ( just replace it) we would all be pleased .

though im glad we got the letter from them.
