If you bought it new then you shouldn't pay anything. Your powertrain should cover it. If the "damaged items" are listed under it then don't pay for it. Axles break not twist, only the splines on the axles can get a twist in them. Unless they are saying that a modification you made to your Rubi voided the warranty, is the only way they can make you pay for it. If it is stock then you need to call Chrysler and tell them what's going on and get them involved.

His Jeep looks pretty modded from his avatar picture, so I'm sure the dealer is giving him shit because of it.

OP, are you saying you've put over $15k in parts into your Jeep, or that the dealer claims you need $15k in parts?

Assuming your engine's not blown this is insane. You could put 37s, a high end lift kit, and Pro Rock axles on your JK for $15,000. Tell the dealer you want to see an itemized list of the proposed work. Then ask him to pass you his crack pipe.

Did the dealer blame you for the damage? I feel like we are missing part of the story.

I'd try another dealership as long as the current one didnt have to ask permission for warranty work from Chrysler

I'm the original owner and they tried to say it was my fault and that I have to pay 15000 so I'm not sure on what to do and the plan was 35s with a gd lift and a light bar for half that price then this little incident happened
