I'd recommend removing the door, removing the side view mirror, and then tilting the door to drain the water out of the hole where the side view mirror mounts.

Drilling holes at the bottom of the door = rust down the road, I'd think.

I'm wondering if the side view mirror mount was the water's entry point into your door... have you done the mod of drilling drain holes in them?

Water gets down through the side view mirror opening, pools inside the bracket, and then takes forever to seep out. With more water coming in than going out, it can get up to the level of the bolts holding the mirror on, and run down inside the door. At least, that's the running theory. Drilling a hole in the side mirrors lets the water drain faster, which seems like a good thing.

Now, that might not be where your water got in-- I'd think it's more an issue with car washes than mudding... but taking the mirror off will give you a nice drain hole if you're not opposed to flipping the door upside down to get the water out!

Today's the 2nd so I hope this isn't an April fools joke.
If you open and look up at the bottom of the doors there's at least 2 large rectangular drain holes like every other machine on the road.
If they're not draining you've got some kind of heavy duty sh_t in there!
