Default water leak from under dash

so kinda a strange problem just traded in my 05 lj for a 2011 jku had it about one day and found a nice little leak under the passenger side dash. also I a noise from the blower if you have the blower on low and turn hard left it sounds like you just turned the blower up full speed. not sure if these are realated or not. my first two thoughts were either the heater core or a drain pluged somewhere and this was ran water coming in. any thoughts would be great.

Hey bunker...I believe there is a post about this.....On the passenger side wall kick panel where the electrical harness for the door is, if you pull back the rug from that side kick panel there are a few holes some may have plugs in them. or they may not! I think the post described the run off from either the window or the cowl then flows down that side panel beneath the top skin of the vehicle and down that very hole and in some cases like yours into the vehicle. You need to seal it up ! Tape or even silicone will do the trick. I don't believe the holes are very big ...there was pictures of it on here some where. Good luck! If your still within warranty take it to the dealership and have them fix it.
