Cool Water leaks

Hi everyone, about a week ago I posted about water leaks on my 11 Rubi, with the hardtop. Leaking over the dash and through the screw knobs on the sound bar. I re-fitted the roofstopped the leaks through the knobs, but still leaking onto dash over my Nav. unit. Now I noticed it leaking in under the pass. door. Any solutions? Has anyone thought of a class action suit against Jeep? Just because it's a Wrangler, it still should not leak! Getting ready to trade it for an 11 Mustang! Thanx, Harry

I've only own two Jeeps, an '87 w/ a hard top and my '08 w/ a soft top, and I must say this whole "it's a jeep thing" confuses me. I've never had either leak (knock on wood).

Although, the JK's hard top is multiple pieces, where my YJ was a single piece unit... Perhaps this is a JK hard top thing.

Trading in the leaky top for a leak filled engine/tranny from ford... Thats some smart thinking right there! Lol

I have a 2011 Sahara and the first time it rained it flooded the passenger floor mat, you know it went right back to Jeep and they put in a new door seal and so far so good, bring it back until they fix it right.

It shouldn't leak.

I have a 2010 JKU hardtop and we just had two days of torrential downpours. The Jeep was parked outside the whole time. Inside is bone dry. Take it back to dealer and make them fix it.

I have also had a couple of late model Mustangs 08, 09. Had absolutely no problems. Except I missed my Wrangler! harry

For 11, they changed hardtop suppliers. Thats really the problem. My 09 Sahara Unlimited didn't leak. The only thing I can think of is perhaps the 2 door body vs. 4 door handles things differently. Body flex, etc? Harry

I hear time and time again that "it's a Jeep" so expect it to leak. When you spend the money they are getting for a "Jeep" it shouldn't leak. Why does everyone always say that. It's 2011.....fix the leaking already! Ok, I feel better now!
