Default Water Pump replacement?

Any idea what the dealer will be doing when they swap out my water pump when it comes in? I am asking so I know what to check to make sure they put back things properly and to double check the work. Thanks

This might give you some idea of what the dealer will be doing...

From the 07 FSM:

Water Pump Removal
1. Drain the cooling system.
2. Remove the accessory drive belt shield.
3. Remove the accessory drive belt.
4. Remove water pump pulley bolts.
NOTE: To remove the water pump pulley, it MUST first be positioned between water pump housing and drive hub. The pulley can then be removed with the water pump assembly.
5. Rotate pulley until openings in pulley align with water pump drive hub spokes. Move pulley inward between pump housing and hub.
6. Position pulley to allow access to water pump mounting bolts. Remove water pump mounting bolts.
7. Remove water pump with the pulley loosely positioned between hub and the pump body.
8. Remove and discard the seal.
9. Clean seal groove and sealing surfaces on pump and timing chain case cover. Take care not to scratch or gouge sealing surfaces.

Water Pump Installation
1. Install new seal into water pump housing groove.
NOTE: The water pump pulley MUST be positioned loosely between the pump housing and drive hub BEFORE water pump installation.
2. Position the water pump pulley loosely between pump housing and drive hub.
3. Install water pump and pulley to the timing chain case cover. Tighten water pump bolts to 12 N·m (105 in. lbs.).
4. Position pulley on water pump hub. Install bolts and tighten to 28 N·m (250 in. lbs.).
5. Rotate pump by hand to check for freedom of movement.
6. Install the accessory drive belt.
7. Install drive belt shield.
8. Fill the cooling system.
I'm not sure what all you can check...maybe the coolant level and the belt for proper installation.

COOLANT LEVEL CHECK
NOTE: Do not remove radiator cap for routine coolant level inspections. The coolant level can be checked at coolant reserve/overflow tank.

The coolant reserve/overflow system provides a quick visual method for determining coolant level without removing radiator pressure cap. With engine idling and at normal operating temperature, observe coolant level in reserve/overflow tank. The coolant level should be between ADD and FULL marks.

Accessory drive belt installation
Route belt around all pulleys except the idler pulley (1 or 2). Rotate the tensioner arm clockwise until it contacts its stop position. Route the belt around the idler and slowly let the tensioner rotate into the belt. Make sure the belt is seated onto all pulleys.

put some type of mark on the water pump before u take it in, take a time and date stamped picture of it. let them do the work and when u get it back check to see if they really replaced the water pump. look for the mark that you placed on it. if mark still there, then they did not replace pump and they charged u for it.

i know its paranoid, but i do not trust dealerships and many mechanic shops at all. there are too many in my area that do this type of scam.

I was changing the oil last weekend. I don't know if it is just some crud from the winter roads, or what looks like the water pump weeping. THere is a condensation line coming from behind the bottom of the plate that the upper pulled is connected to. Does anyone know where the drain hole is on the water pump housing, and does it sound like that is what is going on?
