cruise control will turn on when I am stopped or rolling very slow. Once I start moving with it on (over 5mph) it turns off and will not let me turn it back on.

Was wondering if this has something to do with having 35's. Will a programmer like the flash paq fix this?

I searched around but couldn't find the same problem.

 

cruise control will usually disable if there is a Tire pressure monitor warning.. or if your tires are inflated at different pressures than each other as different wheel speeds when not turning indicate to the computer that the jeep may be sliding or about to slide (even if the ESP light is not on)

Yeah, that sounds about right. One you pick up speed the wheel speed sensors start sending out confusing signals & the system tripps off; may even be just a fauly wheel sensor (check to see if it's thrown a code)

 

that makes sense. I will check the tire pressure first, then check for codes.

 

What year is your jeep and how many miles? Is there any warrant left?
