Default Weird shudder while idle comes down

I need some help tremendously over the week I replaced the valve cover gaskets and Pcv valve on my 2014 sport 3.6 and now you can start it and it idles high for the cold start but as it comes down when it hits 1500rpms the motor shudders hard like a misfire and then levels out at 700rpms and drives fine after it does it and it only does this after sitting a while there’s no check engine light no stored codes or anything I’ve checked for vacuum leaks checked all my plugs I’m completely stumped on this one

Welcome to the forum Thunder! My first thought was like you going toward a vacuum leak. After that I would worry that the new PCV valve is hanging open and that is causing the rough idling. I know what a pain the pcv is on the 3.6L ... maybe rapping on the valve will reseat . Not much else it could be except maybe a sensor but I would center my attention on what changes you made (valve cover gaskets and PCV change) good luck please keep us informed of what the final cause was

So far I’ve checked everything for vacuum and gasket leaks so far nothing it does it so randomly it’s hard to even diagnose but after it hiccups it runs fine like nothing is wrong pulling my hair out around this one I will most definitely update if I get it fixed

Default Figured it out

Ok so after doing some long diagnostics for a while we figured out it would only do it when it was a certain degree outside so we came to the conclusion that since the Pcv vale was bad and puked a bunch of oil in the air intake that we would replace the intake temperature sensor and see how it would do after that so far everything runs smooth and no shudder even on the hottest days so far

those pcv valves are super cheap, just pop a new one in and see if it makes a difference. Doesnt matter if itsmopar or aftermarket, theyre all chinese anyways
