Default Weird starting issue 07 rubicon possibly electrical problem.

So today when I was leaving I put the key in pressed the clutch and nothing(All lights and what not came on tho)....... I tried again it turned over but didn't fire immediately then did. I turned it off and tried to replicate it. Nothing. Then I drove off, stopped for gas turned it off and it fired right back up. While going down the road I hit the window washers and it sprayed but the wipers stopped half way across the window. Hit the washer again and this time they stopped all the at the top of the window. So turned on the full wipers and they worked no problem and couldn't get it to ot again the entire 25 minute drive. I got nothing....... At first I thought starter then the wipers did there thing. Give me what ever you got for advice or where to start. Nothing like blindly chasing a electrical issue of that's what it is.

I’m not going to help much but I’d like to follow along. I have a 2007 as well and, every so often, I turn the key, all the accessories go on and - nothing. I find that, if I then roll the windows up and down it will turn over just fine. I’ve changed a bunch of stuff, and nothing has solved it.

Start by cleaning all the grounds first and then possibly spending the $8 to run the second ground wire. Battery should be tested for a load test. It sounds like it could be a bad ground, TIPM issue or multifunction switch possibly. Some times my 08 has a second delay before it starts especially after I've disconnected the battery.

Put it into N next time it won't start. All I would seriously have to do to mine is move it into N and it would start right up. Try that next time you get the no start condition.
