Default Weird won't start issue

So at an increasing rate (was about once a week, now about once a day) I go to start my jeep and it will start, not quite get enough RPMs and then die. When I go again it just turns over but won't quite get cranking. After giving it some time I can usually start it up. I had the battery checked and I am at 95%. Now my red battery light comes on almost every time I get in the jeep thought. Please!!! any suggestions would be awesome.
I should also add I have a rough at stoplight and sometimes it seems almost as though my jeep is going to stall out at red lights and such.

Is this your original battery? Have you had your battery checked?

Sounds like a clogged or bad catylic converter to me. I had a 99 dakota that did the same thing and it was a bad cat.

Thanks! I just took it to the dealer but I get such a hassle. They almost always send me home at least once without fixing the problem. I will keep the Cat in mind. Wound that cause the red battery issue as well?

Doesn't sound like a battery issue, if your battery was running flat it wouldn't turn the jeep over. I think I read some threads about the factory alarm causing something like that. Turns over, starts to fire up and shuts right back down, then just turns over after that. Try a quick search about alarm trouble.

Update: they said my alternator is bad. One is on order and will go in Tuesday. Do this sound consistent?
