Went wheeling pretty hard....Now I have a rattle up front?
I did some pretty hard core wheeling at Chinamen Gulch here in Colorado this past weekend. On my way home I noticed that I have a slight rattle coming from somewhere up under my feet. That leads me to believe it's something to do with my suspension or axle or steering components, but I'm not sure what.
When I got home yesterday, I got up under the jeep and everything seems to be in tact. No bolts missing or shocks dangling or anything glaring like that.
I was doing some pretty advanced stuff, and came down a couple times on skid plates/rock sliders, but nothing stands out like a hard impact on a tie-rod or anything.
Has anybody had this happen before? Any ideas what it could be?

To help find where its coming from:
1. rock the jk back and fourth by pushing it see if you can produce the rattle.
2. have someone jump on the bumper to make it go up and down to see if you can produce any sound/ rattle.
3. have someone drive over a speed bump to understand where the sound is coming from.
check the track bars if you have them.
check your sway bar links
check out all your suspension components.

Yeah, I remember watching one of those auto shows on TV where a guy had the same problem after he'd been hitting some gravel roads & the mechanics spent hours pouring over every inch of the suspension & drivetrain until someone found the problem; small rocks/pebbles had found their way on top of the skid plates & would chatter & rattle when the vehicle was underway.
