Default Wet floors?!

Anyone notice their floors being wet under the mats in the front? Mine are soked, and I do not know why. I haven't pulled the carpet up to check yet, but wondered if anyone else has checked or noticed this.

I think every Jeep has this problem. Water just seems to get in, more so in the soft tops. Just drain it out if its too bad.

My TJ doesnt leak at all.

MY passenger window, slightly goes down after a couple days, this is where my water gets in.

I pulled my carpet and literally had a quart of water on the floor pooled near the seat on the driver side front. I attribute it to the poor design of the hardtop gutters that drain water directly into the cab when the door is open.

Seriously, have you opened your door in the rain? The water overflows the rain gutter and pours, not drips, pours directly into the cab.

I do not think that is right, have service look at it. I have not had any problems with my hard top.

Wait till it rains. The gutters just fill up. The Jeep is lower in the front ant the water overflows to the front, right into the cab onto the floor.

Default Me Too!

I noticed the soaked floor after our first heavy rains (if there is such a thing in cali) but only on the drivers side. I also think it has to do with the freedom top design. I plan on having it looked at during the 1st service. Otherwise luv my 6 speed X.

I've heard of the hard tops leaking, but I have a soft top. I took out my Husky floor mats and the driver side dried up in a day, but the passenger side is still really really soaked.

This probably isn't the culprit but maybe it should be considered. When I posted the write-up for drilling the review mirrors, I couldn't believe how much water came out. If I didn't drill the holes, I could picture that water seeping through the two bolt holes and into the door panel. Don't know if it would just sit there and rust the door or work it's way into the vehicle. Just my $.02.
