Anyone have some tips on keeping the darn windshield rests ON the hood? I've lost one to a carwash and both today when cleaning snow from the hood.

get some 3m trim tape, auto part stores will have it and apply it to the underside of them. make sure to clean the area of the hood they attach to real well so you get good adhesion.

Love the fact you can't pull off the sunvisor stickers, but the windsheild rests fall off!

Since I can't see ever using the rests, I replaced mine with some plastic hole-plugs I found in the local parts store. They just pop right in, look great, and no more hood nipples to rip off.

I purchased some Vector hole plugs for the hood and the rear deck, and I love them. They look good, completely seal the hole, and better still, they stay in place. A bit pricey, but then what isn't for a JK?

I just broke down and ordered the Vector UFO's too. Once the light bar went on, the folded windshield option went away!
