Ok, being this is my first Wrangler I am not very used to soft tops. Anyway, I gathered the parts and installed it on my own. After the install, I noticed the areas above the doors are really loud and don't seem right. When I see other soft top JKs they don't have this "gap" like I do. When I got my tank replaced today the guy at the dealer said it goes into a track on the surrounds...but I don't see how. Any help is appreciated! BTW: this is the Mopar factory top using Bestop surrounds.
Thanks!
Thanks!

What model jeep if nottop that came on it what model is the top from? 2007-09 It goes over the outside then Tucks into the track. Gotta stretch like the dickins! If it's 10-12 it has a cable system that lays tight on top of the surrounds.

It's an 08 top and my Jeep is an 08. There are flaps on the sides. They must stretch out? Seems like itd be difficult. Bestop said these will work with factory tops.

The top has a lip on it, you have to wrap it around the surrounds and it tucks in underneath. Although, those surrounds look weird. Could you open the door and take a pic of it?
