What can my stock 3.21 Tow
Trying to figure out if I should go with a Roof rack or Tow.
I have a 08 Sahara Auto with 3.21 gears and will soon have 33" KM2's
Im looking to tow a small trailer for a inflatable pontoon and gear. Or
maybe a Cargo Trailer tentrax or similar.
What can I do with what I got for towing?
Thanks

If you have an auto, then your gear ratio is 3.73. Only the 6 speed has the 3.21. If you have the factory tow package then you can tow 2000lbs (two door). No tow package, it will be rated for 1000lbs. See list in previous post.
Sounds like you should have no trouble for something that insignificant, though keep in mind once you add the larger, heavier tires it won't help your towing performance.

YES I found my new car sticker to confirm the auto is a 3.73 which is good. Now if I look up whats part of the trailer tow group is that all thats needed?
From what I found all I need is:
Trailer Tow Group: Hitch receiver, 4-Pin Wiring Connector, 3.73 axle ratio.
Includes:
Trailer Sway Damping
Trailer Tow with 4-Pin Connector Wiring
Is the wires under there with connector somewhere or do I need to add a harness? Whats the sway damping and where to get it?
And I should be good for 2000lbs?
