Generally... A BB is a set of 4 2in Rubber 'pucks' that are used as lifts on the spring perches.

Budget because the kit costs less than $100 bucks and doesn't require new shocks or anything else. And now you can use a slightly bigger tire with only a little bit of money.

This thread just reminded me how much I've learned on this site over the past year. Thanks to all, especially the moderators and Eddie in particular.

So with a BB, you can lift your ride just like that?!

No re-alignment no new shocks/springs/tires/wheels etc?!

What's the best BB to go with?

(BB is too short to come up on a search)

07Rube -- I like the way you think!

Your probably going to get over 100 different opinions on which one is the best to go with. Me personally, I like the Teraflex and Skyjacker. Not sure which one I will go with?

You can check some of them out here --

Budget Boost is the word.

Why do a BB if you didn't intend on new tires? But no, you generally wouldn't need to do anything.

I don't know about the JK, but on the TJ, you could actually use hockey pucks on each of 11 body mount points and have a 1in body lift. Just need to have a 1in Motor Mount (mm) lift or lower the fan shroud in the engine compartment.
