^^^ No kidding!

I bumped my button once on a trip and turned off my ESP. Light came on. Took me hours of freaking out that's all it was!

Default My thought..

With the nature and outdoor recreational activities of the Jeep, Why in the H3LL would Chrysler put a Bank Angle Sensor in a Jeep???? Could be a conspiracy to end off road recreation? What the heck do they think Jeepers do with their Jeeps?? Doesn't make sense other than to annoy their loyal fanbase. Next they will put some height regulation sensor that won't allow your jeep to be an inch higher than stock or it will self detonate!!!!

Geez what is next??

Default Here is the Link to diisable.

To enable and disable the ESP/BAS.

Some say it doesn't work, Some say it does depending on the year. Don't forget to add human error. GooD luck!!

I have had this happen to my Jeep 3 times now, each time I am driving on the interstate going about 75-80 mph on high wind days (driving into the wind), always goes off when wind calms down or park for the night. I think the sensor is just getting jiggled or something from the high winds. Doesnt seem to affect anything as my break assist still works and esp seems to work file as I kicked out on a gravel road to test it.

The wire runs beside ur front brake line and runs into the hub on each side. Held in by a Allen screw. On the back they plug into the back of the hub just below the axle. It is a faulty (abs wheel speed sensor) your cruise will not work with those lights on either. I have broken two while wheeling thats how I know

I gave this a shot to no avail. Not sure if its because I have an '07 or what. Has anybody been able to get it to work and if so was the ignition turned to 'on' or was the Jeep running while you did it?

Is your steering wheel centered correctly? Have you done any modifications to the suspension and/or hit a curb/rock lately. Any of these things can throw the steering sensor off which will give you the ESP/BAS lights. Check out the FAQ link to recenter your steering wheel and DIY alignment.
