Well I always ran at least 93 in my cars but that was because I had to. With the Jeep the manual states that you should run 87. I have been running 89 until last week I tried some 93. It might just be me but I think it for sure made a difference and I definitely got more miles out of a tank this time.

Unless I'm running a turbocharger, I dont go above 87. Don't need that hot of mix on a jeep.

jeeps are made to run on 87.save your $$$ it will not help to run higher octanes and may hurt the jeep to do so.

Unless you've got a programmer that makes the computer change the timing for the higher octane, it won't help any. Plus, the compression ratio doesn't require it. Save your 20c a gallon.

Higher octane will not help mileage. Only you foot will alter mileage. Running anything above 87 is a waste of money. Period.

Default I'm Using 85 and NO PROBLEM !!!

In most cars, except one, I've always used the cheapest. I started using Premium. Then the price went up, then 87. After another jump, I've been using 85 with no issues AT all for the last 2k miles. My advice, always go to stations with fresh gas. Brand is not the issue, it's what collects after time. So I use discount giants and none of the mom and pops. Anyways, hope that helps....

Dead on, not only will the computer not know what to do with it, since the tune is not configured to burn high octane fuel, it could leave deposits in your engine after time and waste your money. Stick to the manufacturer’s recommendation, unless you are running custom tuning or experiencing pinging from cheap fuel do to the burn rate being to quick.

I believe the manual even says that anything above 87 is a waste.
