I run Amsoil Oil and filters in everything except my John Deere. Im our Sierra, Tahoe, Mini Cooper, the JK, two Harleys, and the Arctic Cat ATV. We had a Jeep Liberty that was my wife's college car and it had a small tick in the motor at about 68K. That was when I switched our "fleet" to Amsoil. On the Liberty I did oil changes about every 15K and after that first oil change the tick went away. It ran fine until I got rid of it to my younger brother at 128K. Still runs fine for him to this day and he has continued to run Amsoil (because his older brother told him too!).

It is a little more expensive but it has proven itself to me. Just sign up for the preferred customer thing for a 6-month membership and purchase all your oil at once for the entire year. You get a better deal that way.

5 qts of valvoline 5w20 conventional, 1 qt lucas oil treatment, napa oil filter. I run valvoline brand fluids and the proper lucas in everything except fuel treatment. I change my engine oil and filter every 2500 miles, diffs and transfer case 15000 and tranny 25000

I used to use both Mobil 1 and Mobil 1 filters, but have gone back to MOPAR filters.

Agreed. I think it's more important to stay on schedule, regardless of the oil/filter used.

Personally I use Valvoline Synthetic 5-20 and Bosch filter, only because it is the one I can find most consistently in the proper weight.

I've used Pennzoil 10W30 Dino since the late 80's. Fram basic filters. In over 900,000 miles on several cars I've had NO engine repairs, have YET to add a drop between changes, and no drain-back issues with the filters. That's over 300 oil changes at every 3000 miles. I see no need to change what works FOR ME....
