What is this part? Did it fall off of my Jeep?

Default What is this part? Did it fall off of my Jeep?

Was going over a speed bump in a garage and heard a clink, looked back and found this. Looks like it could be from my jeep, but looked around the tow hook areas and no bolts are missing.

Looks familiar but I have no idea if it's actually mine or if I just ran over it.

Thanks.

I've got a 2010 2d and have not seen a bracket like that under mine. Unless its a piece of a bigger part I'd say you hit someone else's problem.

Pretty sure that plate is used for the bolts holding your front bumper on. Should be pretty easy to take a look at that...

There are four where the bumper bolts on the frame. Seems to be there so the bolts don't crush the frame when tightened. If it fell off you're also missing a couple of nuts.

That is exactly what that is...a front bumper spacer. I have 4 of them from when I switched out my front bumper. As stated above, you must be missing the nuts which hold on the front bumper. Fix that quick!

Those are the spacers that go with the stock tow hooks

Exactly, I remember them from somewhere. The nuts aren't lose so I must have just forgotten it and left it inside of the metal frame of the bumper or something...crap. Thanks.
