What Rake?
I never had any concern about the suspension on my JK but keep reading people talking about leveling or canceling "rake" on their JK's. For a bike guy like me rake is totally different so I measured my Jeep and found that my stock suspension (which will be changed in a week or so) sits 1/2" higher in the front than the rear. SO NO RAKE OR SAG AND IS NOT LOWER.
Do others here have front ends that sit lower or do you simply not like the hood angle? I have nothing to level out as the front fenders are higher than the rear.

mine droops a little bit in the front but that's only because of the weight of the front bumper and the winch.! as far as people talking about rake and toe in toe out that's all alien to me im not a suspension guy.
i take it to the alignment shop and let them do there thing when it comes to that stuff.

I have a 2008 X and the front end is lower than the back. I have installed a Ridge Runner front bumper and Warn winch, and I am now even lower. I am putting on a 2.5 lift this week to get away from driving downhill...
Mine looks a lot more level to me then some of the other JK's I see drivng down the road...Maybe its just more noticeable from a distance? I think the bigger tires just make mine look more like a jeep. Could be what i see over the rake lol

The front of our JK is about 3/4" lower than the back. When we inquired about it the dealer told us that a small amount of rake is built into the Jeep allowing the rear to be slightly higher so it will settle a bit to level out when towing. I don't know if this is true. Just what I was told.
