Default what is this sensor?

hello everyone, I want to know what the sensor is called, sometimes it leaks refrigerant and I don't know why, does anyone know if it is dangerous?

The refrigerant would be A/C, that's not it. That looks like a 3.8L engine, right? It's the coolant (aka "antifreeze") temperature probe. Mine leaks a tiny bit around it too. Been doing it for years. Not worth worrying about unless it leaks enough to make a difference in your coolant levels.
