Default What Sensor is this on Axle?

My JK Rubicon just got a new Axle housing and mechanic sent me this picture saying I need that sensor... What is that sensor called?!

I'd be a little concerned with the shop doing the work. If I'm not mistaken that's where the electric wires for the locker run into the diff and not a sensor.

More importantly, what the hell did you do to that axle? Go through a thermonuclear war?

Hahahaha. I purchased it from Auction. What I thought was only a flat tire ended up being a $1500+ issue =(

It's not sensor Plug, The D44 Rubi axle has electronic Lockers. That is where the control wires for the locker run into the diff. The fact that a shop rebuilding the axle does not know that would be a concern to me.
