Anybody have other info on these?
yeah, thats correct, the stock rubi tires are unquie only to Jeep and aren't avaible in other sizes and the Jeep ones do have a slightly different tread pattern compared to the normal Mud-Terrain T/A's. You can get them at quadratec.com and some other places.

According to the BFG web site "LT255/75R17/C 111/108Q BSW 86927 6.5 - 8.5 10.04 on 7 32.05 19 649 2405@50 DC KM-DT " are the KM DT which are Differant Tread. http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/specs...a-km/1152.html

Look at the bottom of the specs.

Thanks! I've looked all over for that info!

Subtle little "DC" in the Original Equipment column. Finally confirms that the tires are indeed unique.

I just spoke to Discount Tire in Tucson. The guy said that this is an odd tire size for the Mudder and will have to be special ordered. That is the stoke Rubi tire right?

Looks to be that way. Go to the BFG link further up this thread and you'll see that it's a specific size made for DC - no other sizes come close.

No Mavis' nearby. :( Shipping isn't too bad. Was hoping there was a place around here that sells them but there doesn't seem to be one.

$108 per tire??? That's got to be a mistake on their site - anyone actually purchased from Mavis? Anyway, like others have done, keep watching the For Sale page and get a set of take-offs. I'm considering stepping up a size or two on my Rubi - my tires just turned over 3000 miles. I'm just having difficulty justifying $1200 for larger tires when I could run these out and then pick up another set of someone else's take-offs! Let me know if you're looking for just tires or tires and wheels.
