Default What size socket for replacing cam phasers

Hey guys, I have a 2012 Wrangler Sport, sounds like she was tapping on both sides 120k on the clock, so I'm replacing lifters & rocker arms. Of course trying to make a short list of what else I should replace with her torn apart. Just receive all four camshaft phasers from (Mopar), anyone know the socket size? "hope the cam lobes are still in tact". I noted the camshafts are little expensive but if worn, I will replace. Waiting for the weather to warm up a little here in PA before attacking this project.

I'm make a short list of what else should be replace with her torn apart, appreciate any insight or suggestions.

Teh information I access shows an Oil Control Valve; which appears to be thru the phasers. Unfortunately it does not have any size info, I did not that the pics show marks that could indicate alignment. Good Luck it looks to be large in the pics.

Jay - Do you think I should change out the camshaft phaser oil control valves?

Appreciate it,

IMO; given the mileage .. if I was doing the job, new cam phasers Yes I'd spend the $. I think these are important in the function of the Cam phaser.

They are 36mm. I have a couple videos in the thread below that are a great resource if you have not seen them before -

If you don't have a 36mm already, that is what you need for the front axle shaft nut as well so it's good to have.
