Default What type if gas you use?

Does it matter if i put the middle gas in? Its not supreme but its better then the regular gas.. I just put it in and i feel if the has a smoother pick up.

And what does everyone else put. What type of gas?

It is better, yes. But to notice and improvement I think is all in the head, it'll be healthier for the engine. But I don't think it is much much better thou, and I burn supreme

I run 87 as well in all my vehicles. Been doing it for years, no problems.

It is a myth the vehicles designed to run on 87 do better when run with higher octane. No truth to it at all. I think more important is to get the gas from a good reputable source. This issue gets beat to death on many forums for many vehicles. Bottom line is that stock vehicles should be run with the octane they are designed for. If your vehicle runs better on higher octane it could indicate that there is a problem to be addressed.

If you read the owners manual it does say vehicle ok to run 87 but all test including mpg test were done using premium 92 oct. And I also notice a 1-1.3 mpg pick up using 92 vs 87 so most be doing something right. My 2 cents

I have been tracking every single fill up since I bought my 2012 with zero miles on it. It now has 32,000 miles on it. When plotting the data, one thing is obvious: you need to have several full ups to be sure the MPGs you are seeing is statistically significant. I experimented once with 93 octane while towing my heavy trailer on a long trip. I did not experience any increase in mpg and felt no difference in towing power with the 93 octane.

That's a difficult statement to make. When you ran 93 octane did you drive exact same routes with same vehicle speed same wind speed in same direction? Was ambient air temperature the same? Was traffic the same? I ran 89 octane in one tank and got 17.1 then with next tank I ran 92 and got 13.2 cause I wheeled for 7 hours. So simply providing a mpg graph without all varibles is useless. IMHO
