whats the diff in the 09 top to the 10'

what makes you think there is a difference between 09 and 10. i know there is a difference from 08 to 09. is there more changes

Hard or Soft...?

I saw those springs on the side of the 4dr soft top... not sure if they were there B4, It's my 1st 4dr...

On the 10 the top now has a spring loaded cable running through it so that it is easier to put up and down. Also with this they redid the frames above the doors because you no longer need to tuck the top into the frame, just the rear windows get tucked in now.

sounds good. i've only got the hard top right now and would like to get a soft top but every body tells me they are a "pita" guess i'm buyin the 2010 top. wonder about price difference??

Wonder how the new design will affect running a safari or bikini top? On the old setup you tuck the sides into the door frames to keep water out. Sounds like the new frames don't have the lip to tuck in the sides.

strange, I haven't had any troubles with my 09' top. I just got used to putting it up by myself, no big deal really.

10 soft top is a cable top, that is to say instead of having to tuck the canards on top above the doors into the rails, there is a cable there that provides the tension to the rails. I put some pics on myprojectJK if you want to check it out.
