Default What's going on here?

So I came home today, and I realized a few spots under the Jeep and my first thought was either oil, coolant, or diff fluid. So I park my jeep where I usually do. And it looks like its right under the tranny. GREATTTTTT Here's a picture of what I see. Looks like a fairly new leak. And I just broke 30k miles the other day. I was going to be doing the 30k maintenance here in the next week or so.

Fluid looks clear when I touched the bottom of tranny. It doesn't have a build up of fluid, but it is damp feeling. Any thoughts?? I have a 6spd by the way

Looks like tears. Maybe your jeep is sad it didn't get bigger tires for Christmas.

Anyone else confirm this?

How much is it to get this replaced? Is it expensive?

If its clear then it's not trans fluid. 30k trans fluid should be dark red. Brake fluid (used in brake and clutch master cylinders) is clear-ish when new.

Mine was doing the same exact thing, then my clutch failed to work a few weeks later. I'd take care of it soon. You need someone to take it off, it's pretty simple and have a look at slave cylinder. I replaced mine for 70 bucks at a jeep dealer and took it to a shop to get fluid drained so the new one could go in. Find a local shop that you know that can drain the lines.

Better to do it now then have the clutch not work and have to get it towed like I did. Luckily my insurance paid for the tow.
