wheel spacers?

I'd like to widen the stance a bit - I'm thinking about wheel spacers. I've read it increases the turning radius.

Will this have any issues on braking or anything?

assuming this may void the warranty?

I am running the r/c 1.5 wheel spacers on my stock wheels...no problems and no rubbing...
