Default When in 4-low

Ok I was in the sand at the beach, inhad it in 4-low. I turned the steering wheel all the way to the left, the tire rim went to the right about an inch. Very noticeable. But my steering wheel did not move at all!! Anything loose? I took it to the stealership they tried it on CEMENT. I asked them isint that bad for the 4-wd components. He said it's ok but try to limit it. Hmmm thinking. But anyways can someone try this OFF ROAD and let's know if yours does that. Oh and stealership says it's Normal. Because the front wheels are trying to go straight. I would think the steering wheel should turn with the tire-rim. Am I wrong? Sorry for being so long. Just wanna make it as clear as possible. Thanks.
