What is a good mileage to change spark plugs at? Also besides oil change is there any other maintenance I should do at 15K?

If you don't have an owners manual, download one from the Jeep web site. It's all in there.
Regarding the spark plugs, you should take them out real early and put some anti-seize on them. If you leave them in for the amount of time listed, the threads could come out with the plugs.

Very good point on the anti-seize. I always wonder why manufacturers seem to use lots of loctite but very little anti-seize.

Also, depending on how mechanically inclined and bored you are, it doesn't hurt to pull the spark plugs every once in a while and read them. You learn a lot about the engine that way.

Well, you could do it the way my Step-Dad always tried to do.

1. Take one out, reconnect the wire to it.
2. ask some poor schlep to hold it for a sec...
3. hit the key.

If he doesn't change composure, it's time to change that particular plug.

My dad used that gag on me with our cranky old lawn mower when I was about 10 , and I have loved pulling it on everyone who is clueless enough to fall for it ever since.
