Default Who has a 2013 manual that isnt having problems?

I had a 2012 with a 6 speed manual that exhibited many of the problems (popping out of gear, excessive noise) that many seem to be having now. Anyway, Chrysler bought it back after 9 months and a new transmission which didn't fix the problem. I left Jeep for the past year and I really miss having one. I am now considering a new 2013 but I am gun shy about another manual. Please speak up if you are driving a 2013 manual and its doing well so far. How many miles so far? Thanks very much.

Just turned 6100 miles today on my 2013. No problems with it popping out of gear, funny noises, etc. I still occasionally miss a gear, but I haven't rowed gears since I was a teenager. I enjoy how the manual feels. It's still a jeep, so it vibrates as expected. Going to the platte river on Friday with a crew so ill air down and see how it does in the sand. Ill give you a follow up. Go get another one, its a jeep thing.

I just bought my 2013 JKUR last week with 6500 miles. The only issue I have had with the manual is that 6th sometimes doesn't appear to be directly under 5th in the the shift pattern. Occasionally I need to give it a little jog to the right to get to 6th. Once I went too far (with the original owner in passenger seat) and momentarily touched reverse gear. I suspect i will get used to it with a little time. No noises or anything like that.

You either get one that does it or doesn't. My '07 did it in second. My '10 and '13 have no issues. Seems like the luck of the draw.

Not a 2013, but tonight I just crossed the 30,000 mile mark with my 2012 manual trans on a trip picking up my Marine son at Camp Lejuene for the holiday. My JKU has been flawless. (Except for the slow clock)

2013 JKU with 10k and the trans is good. No noise, or issues popping out of gear.
